ICT 2010, the greatest european forum dedicated to digital research and innvation

This biennial event has become the sole meeting point for researchers, business leaders, investors and political decision-makers active in the sector of digital innovation.

ICT 2010 will concentrate on political priorities such as the European Digital Agenda, as well as the next European Union programme for the financing of research and innovation in the information and communications technologies sectors.

ICT 2010: the principal questions for Europe concerning research:

- Information and communications technology for and by the people

The BRIC (the Brussels Regional Informatics Centre) is making the most of the occasion by running a stand in the Belgian pavilion of the event’s exhibition dedicated to the future of IRISnet with the title “IRISNET2: A sustainable broadband network for Brussels”. In addition to this, the BRIC will be running a networking session on the theme “Metropolitan Broadband Networks to foster Sustainable Cities” on Wednesday 29^th September from 14.00 to 15.30.
