Vision and Mission

The vision and mission of the BRIC spring from the regional strategy regarding information and communication technology.

• Vision
  BRIC aspires to be the preferred ICT partner of the government and institutions of the Brussels-Capital Region by providing services and solutions that meet their needs and so contribute to improving the effi ciency and image of the region.
• Mission statement
  BRIC is the public interest body in the Brussels-Capital Region that aspires tobe the technologically neutral, competent, reliable and high-quality partner of all public institutions looking to introduce innovative, coherent ICT, in a wellinformed, proactive way, to optimise their effi ciency and the convenience of their services for inhabitants, businesses and visitors.

This "mission statement" is based on four pillars:

• A spearhead technology regional computing and telecoms infrastructure;
• A professional digital map that is permanently updated;
• A skilled, dynamic, keen and professional team.
• A constant benchmarking of technologies and applications, in collaboration with the regional ICT players;

This mission statement was approved by the Brussels Capital Region's Government on 20th of july 2006
